OUR MISSION: We provide D300 children, employees and their families with access to food and other resources that nurture a healthier, happier and stronger community.

The D300 Food Pantry serves the families and employees of Community Unit School District 300 (D300). D300 is the sixth largest school district in the state of Illinois and services approximately 21,000 students covering 118 square miles which includes 10 villages/cities and four townships.
Pantry clients must register before their first visit and present proof that the household resides with D300 and that they have at least one child in the D300 district. Students enrolled at Elgin Community College also qualify. And whether or not they reside in the D300 district or not, employees of D300 are also eligible for benefits, as well as employees of Durham bus company and Aramark food service.
The D300 Food Pantry is 100% volunteer run and funded and is a 501c(3) organization (EIN 47-5540004).
