The D300 Food Pantry provides food assistance to families of School District 300 whether you need help for the short term, long term or on an emergency basis.
You must meet ONE of these qualifications to shop at the D300 Food Pantry:
- Live in the D300 School District AND have a child age 0 to 18 living in your home (one exception: if you have an older special needs child still attending high school past 18).
- Work for the D300 School District, Durham Bus Company or OrganicLife Food Service.
- Attend Elgin Community College or McHenry Community College.
If you have any questions about eligibility, please contact our Registrar at registration@d300foodpantry.org.
If you have not registered with our pantry yet, you will need to register online – follow the directions at the Register For Help page. You’ll be assigned a Link2Feed pantry number – you’ll need it so write it down or take a screenshot. Once you are registered, you will be able to make an appointment for weekly shopping on Wednesday or Thursday night.
Already registered and have a pantry number? You are ready to shop – go to Food Assistance page and schedule your next appointment (appointment registration for shopping opens on the prior Friday).
