Why Support Us

very Low Non-Program Expenses

98% of all cash donations go directly to programming.

We Focus on Kids

1 out of every 5 kids in the US endures food insecurity. As a school-based food pantry, our mission keeps this fact at the core of our mission.

Donations are Tax Deductible

We're a 501(c)3 organization so your donations are tax deductible pursuant to the current tax codes and regulations. (EIN 47-5540004).

Your Dollars Go Further

Through our partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank, we have a spend ratio of 1 to 8. For every dollar we spend with them, we get about $8 worth of food.

Neighbor Testimonials

"I feel thankful for the staff and the volunteers. Showing so much love to others. Also providing information about clothing drive or preschool or birth to 3 programs and other programs from the community. The food pantry has helped me with school supplies, Christmas gift and Thanksgiving food. Once again from the bottom of my heart thank you."

"They help my family immensely. I would pick up a box for the convenience of it, but I do not have space to keep items I wouldn't soon use. It makes me feel guilty receiving things I can't use or won't use soon. It's easier for me to use the pantry so I could get what I'll use."

"Very friendly volunteers. I do not have the time to always come once a month but love that I can come when I need to. Love that you have things like milk, eggs, bread. Not just leftovers. The fresh produce is great. "
